The Sage User Network has announced that at its next user conference, it will be offering new members a free place, worth £300, if they join the network. The conference, which will be held at Warwick University on 18 and 19 October, will give members the opportunity to network with other users, discuss the Sage family of products and discuss any issues.
As well as providing members of the Sage User Network with the resources to get the most out of their investment in the Sage family of products, the conference also hosts guest speakers discussing a range of business issues. This year David Emm, senior security researcher at Kaspersky Lab, will deliver a presentation discussing the new age of cybercrime, and how businesses can protect themselves.
"Kaspersky Lab takes very seriously the threat that cybercriminals pose to businesses," explains David Emm. "For companies to fully protect themselves, education is just as important as effective protection software. The Sage User Network Conference provides a great opportunity for us to spread the word on the dangers and how firms should protect themselves."
"We are delighted that David will be speaking at our event. Our conferences are designed to provide an outstanding resource for the attendees," says Nicole James, technical director, Sage User Network. "Receiving first-hand expert advice on the threats out there is an opportunity unavailable to many businesses, and it is great that this is something we can offer to our members."
As well as the presentations, there will also be user case studies, an exhibition area, and an overview of the Sage Product Roadmap, as well as clinics and product workshops headed by Sage experts. In addition, the presentations being given throughout the event will be made available online to all Sage User Network users after the event.
