Kaspersky Lab today announced it has again earned ICSA Labs Advanced Threat Defense (ATD) Security Certification for its Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform following a fifth straight test cycle.   Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform was 100% effective at detecting previously unknown malicious threats with no false positives during each of the last three test cycles.

“Detecting malicious threats is a difficult task.  To defend networks in the most efficient way, a solution needs a comprehensive set of technologies, including machine learning-based threat analysis, advanced sandbox technology, network analysis, and global threat intelligence” said Oleg Glebov, Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attacks Solution Business Lead at Kaspersky Lab. “With a record of 100% detection and zero false detections for three ICSA Labs ATD test cycles in a row, the Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform demonstrates its ability to defend customers from a multitude of threats every single time, no matter what form the attack takes.”

ICSA Labs Advanced Threat Defense (ATD) certification testing determines how well security products protect enterprises against new and malicious threats. Detailed ICSA Labs ATD testing reports for Kaspersky Lab’s Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform are freely available on the ICSA Labs web site following each quarterly test cycle here.

Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform uses multi-layered threat detection – including a granular assessment of activity occurring in a customer’s enterprise network and its endpoints – to help protect businesses and organizations against sophisticated threats and targeted attacks. Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform includes network, web and email sensors, as well as optional endpoint sensors that together help to detect threats – not just at the entry points - but wherever they arise. Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform also includes Kaspersky’s Targeted Attack Analyzer that assesses data from network and endpoint sensors – and rapidly generates threat detection verdicts. By combining sandbox-based analysis and Kaspersky's advanced machine learning technologies, Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform  helps deliver protection against a wider range of threats.
