Kaspersky Lab has updated Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Lotus Domino, the corporate solution designed for businesses using the IBM Lotus Domino collaboration platform. The new Maintenance Pack 1 enhances the existing package with support for the 64-bit edition of Lotus Domino client and server modules as well as providing a number of performance and reliability enhancements.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Lotus Domino effectively secures the IBM collaboration platform and is ready to work on a large-scale corporate infrastructure with heavy loads. The solution scans email messages and documents shared on Lotus Domino servers, providing enhanced protection against potential IT threats.
The product’s features include real-time scanning of messages and attachments (including archives) for malicious objects, as well as on-demand scanning of selected areas. Infected and suspicious objects are safely archived allowing important information to be restored. The solution is fully scalable and multi-platform, securing both Windows and Linux-based Lotus Domino servers.
Maintenance Pack 1 brings a number of enhancements, making the solution even more reliable and effective. Support for Windows Server 2008 (both the first release and R2) has been introduced. Another important addition is support for 64-bit editions of IBM Lotus Domino client and server software.
