For the second consecutive year Kaspersky Lab's well-known, award-winning flagship product, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, has been rated "Software of the Year" by PC Magazine, one of the most respected and popular computer-related publications.
Just as in the previous year, Kaspersky Anti-Virus is second to none according to the aggregate product estimation that includes a comprehensive testing of such characteristics as quality, availability, price, service and others. In the majority of these categories, Kaspersky Anti-Virus scored the maximum 5 points out of 5.
In particular, the editors of PC Magazine's Russian Edition noted that, "this product is available in any shop or market selling software. Kaspersky Anti-Virus is developing at breath-taking speed: now it can be used on all the most widely used operating systems, firewalls and e-mail gateways."
Summarizing the product's overall performance, PC Magazine emphasized that, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus is a good buy, and it deserves to be christened -Software of the Year.'"
