Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content and threat management solutions, announces that it has opened a new territory office in Utrecht, the Netherlands, to serve the Benelux countries
Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content and threat management solutions, announces that it has opened a new territory office in Utrecht, the Netherlands, to serve the Benelux countries. The Managing Director of the new Benelux office will be Martijn van Lom. Martijn will report to Andreas Lamm, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab, Europe. Martijn's responsibilities include overseeing company operations, channel development and further strengthening of the company's position in the region.
Just prior to joining Kaspersky Lab, Martijn worked as a Management Consultant and Project Manager for various organizations. Previously, Martijn worked for Kaspersky Lab's distribution partner in the Benelux region, where he was responsible for sales between 2005 and 2008. Before that, Martijn was active in various IT organizations, including Copaco Netherlands.
"The presence of an official Kaspersky Lab office in the Benelux region allows us to extend our presence and to provide high-grade support to our resellers, and naturally, our end users too." explains Martijn van Lom, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab, Benelux region. "We also have ambitious growth targets in terms of our organization. It's our aim to have a Benelux team of 20 enthusiastic and motivated employees by the end of this year and I am confident we will achieve this goal".
Commenting on the strategic goals of the new business unit in the Benelux region, Andreas Lamm, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab, Europe, said: "In the months ahead we will focus on strengthening our Benelux distribution channel in collaboration with our partners. Another objective is to increase our market share, particularly in the business market."
