Kaspersky Lab announces the appointment of the new Managing Director in Japan
Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content and threat management solutions, announces the appointment of the new Managing Director in Japan. Mr. Susumu "Sam" Kagayama has been appointed to the position with responsibility for the overall operations in the region, including business development, channel expansion, marketing, and sales activities.
Commenting on the appointment, Eugene Kaspersky, CEO and Co-Founder of Kaspersky Lab said: "Susumu Kagayama is joining Kaspersky Lab Japan at a really turning point. The company's development strategy is aimed at aggressive growth on Japanese market. I believe Susumu's vast expertise and deep knowledge of the market will make a great contribution to Kaspersky Lab's business development in the region."
Mr. Susumu Kagayama has over 30 years' experience in IT industry, and an extensive background in management. He joins Kaspersky Lab after serving as President at Symantec Japan. Under his leadership the company has strengthened its organizational coherence to its customers and partners, and grown their satisfaction in the market. Prior to joining Symantec Japan, he was heading NTT Data Getronics and PeopleSoft Japan. In addition, he held various senior management positions with IBM.
