Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, celebrates 10 years' in the OEM industry at CeBIT 2006, the world's biggest IT exhibition. Kaspersky Lab will showcase appliances produced by the company's OEM partners, that include: Finjan Software, Blue Coat Systems, BorderWare Technologies, Clearswift, ZyXEL Communications Corporation, Critical Path, Dray Tek, Alcatel, Mailfrontier (SonicWall) and others, at its stand at CeBIT 2006, in Hanover, Germany. The Kaspersky Lab stand will for the first time feature a separate section for potential OEM partners, including producers of mobile devices. Furthermore, representatives of two OEM partners who offer hardware solutions that protect mail and web traffic, BorderWare and Blue Coat, will be at the Kaspersky Lab stand during the event.

Kaspersky Lab is an acknowledged world leader in antivirus technology licensing, with a network of more than 70 OEM partners across the globe. The company's antivirus engine, Kaspersky® Anti-Virus, is deservedly popular among software and hardware vendors and service providers. Kaspersky Lab's OEM division offers integrated solutions that provide in-depth protection for every network node. Kaspersky Lab has accumulated a wealth of experience in successfully integrating its technologies into workstations, mail servers, firewalls and Internet gateways.

Kaspersky Lab signed its first technology licensing contract in 1996 with G-Data, a German antivirus company. In the years that followed, Kaspersky Lab OEM partners were joined by such well-known companies as F-Secure, a Finnish producer of antivirus solutions (1997); NETASQ, a European leader in unified security appliances (2000); Sybari, an antivirus company that develops products for Microsoft Exchange (2002, acquired by Microsoft Corporation in 2005); MailFrontier, a leader in email protection (2004); Juniper, a leading manufacturer of routers and other network equipment (2006), and many other companies.

“Kaspersky Lab is the fastest growing company in the international antivirus market, and this is partly due to the successful development of its OEM business, which is where the company has its roots,” stated Vitaly Bezrodnykh, Kaspersky Lab director for business development. “Kaspersky Lab's OEM success is based on the company's technological superiority, its 10 years of experience in developing customized solutions, as well as the entire team's dedication to providing technological excellence and collaborative partnerships.”

"The addition of Kaspersky Lab technology to Blue Coats ProxyAV appliances will give our customers the chance to select an additional best-of-breed malware and antivirus solution. We are glad to show our committment to this OEM partnership by jointly exhibiting the solution with Kaspersky Lab at their booth at CeBIT in Hanover", said Michael Hartmannn, Territory Sales Manager DACH & Eastern Europe with Blue Coat Systems.

"BorderWare is a leader in the messaging security market and Kaspersky Lab is a core component of that success. We have entered this partnership in 2003 and since then it has been a mutually contributing cooperation with new projects continuously under way. We have recently integrated Kaspersky technology into SteelGate firewall. It is part of our unified security platform securing all IP communications in converged networks”, said Peter Cox, VP Product Management with BorderWare.
