Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, is pleased to announce that Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 scored highly in recent tests by four of Germany’s most popular IT magazines. All four publications were particularly enamored with Kaspersky Lab’s new Safe Run technology.
Safe Run enables suspicious programs and websites to be launched inside an isolated, virtual environment. As a result, a program launched within Safe Run cannot damage the operating system or the user’s files because it sends requests to their virtual copies.
In its September issue, PC-Welt states: "Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 provides the home user with complete protection from all types of IT threats." The magazine’s experts held the Kaspersky Lab product in particularly high regard due to its outstanding detection levels and for its implementation of advanced technologies such as Safe Run.
The experts at both PC Magazin and PC go rated Kaspersky Internet Security 2010’s performance as "very good" following tests they conducted. PC Magazin went on to highlight the solution’s low resource requirements as well as the effectiveness of the Safe Run and Kaspersky Security Network technologies, concluding that "Kaspersky Lab’s solution provides reliable protection from all types of new malware."
According to PC go, "Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is a very good integrated solution that has improved functional characteristics compared to version 2009."
In tests conducted during September by a fourth magazine, com!, Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 yet again demonstrated excellent results. The magazine’s experts praised the product’s ease of use, Safe Run technology and its high scanning speed.
