Kaspersky Anti-Virus’ share of the Spanish market exceeds 50%

Analytical research conducted in Spain by GfK Retail & Technology in March 2009 shows that Kaspersky Lab products once again came top of antivirus program sales in the Spanish market.

Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces the results of analytical research conducted in Spain by GfK Retail & Technology in March 2009. Kaspersky Lab products once again came top of antivirus program sales in the Spanish market.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus products accounted for over 65% of antivirus sales within the retail channel, placing the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 3-user package at the top of March’s ratings. It means that Kaspersky antivirus solutions have been the most popular products in their class in the Spanish market for 10 months in a row.

The Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 3-user package has become the bestselling product in the retail channel – consumer electronic stores, computer shops and mass merchandisers.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 also continues to strengthen its position within the integrated IT security category.
