German publication tests 9 personal antivirus products

The February edition of PC Go, a German IT magazine, includes test results for personal antivirus products. The publication tested 9 solutions, and placed Kaspersky® Anti-Virus Personal 5.0 first. Products were tested according to five criteria: virus detection, the functioning of the antivirus monitor, real-time scanning, speed and functionality. The Kaspersky Lab solution scored highly in all categories, with maximum points being awarded in three of them. The testers applauded the ease of configuration, the hourly updates to antivirus databases, and the product's ergonomic interface.
