Kaspersky Lab has extended its product portfolio with Kaspersky® Anti-Virus for Microsoft ISA Server 2000 Enterprise Edition, which is now in open beta-testing. All interested parties are invited to participate in testing this new generation product.

The solution is designed for installation on ISA Server 2000 Enterprise Edition arrays to protect large scale corporate networks from malicious code. Installation on server arrays enables centralised management and updating of the solution.

The product provides comprehensive monitoring of files transmitted via HTTP and FTP through the Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server. The solution works as a filter which intercepts data, and then analyses objects filtered out of the data stream for viruses. It will then prevent objects containing malicious code from being transmitted onwards.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.5 for Microsoft ISA Server 2000 Enterprise Edition incorporates a range of functions designed to ease the lives of system administrators, including an interface integrated with Microsoft Management Console, scheduled and manual downloading of antivirus database updates, the ability to view statistics using standard Windows tools, and a choice of antivirus databases - standard, extended, and maximum. Also incorporated are a range of administrative functions to optimize scanning speed.

You can find out more about the terms and conditions of the beta-testing program here. The most active participants will receive a free version of the product on its commerical release.
