Kaspersky Lab’s antivirus product for home users receives another accolade
Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces that Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0 has been declared Product of the Year 2006 by the Polish edition of PC World Computer in both the Editor’s Choice and Readers’ Choice categories.
For one month, readers of PC World Computer and Internet users were allowed to vote for the products of their choice through a dedicated website. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 won two awards in the antivirus category, with a majority of both readers and editors of the magazine voting for it. The results were published in the January 2007 issue of PC World Computer.
In the summary, the editors wrote, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus wins, because it traditionally shows a high-level quality and keeps up not only with changes in the world of cybercrime, but also with the wishes and expectations of customers.”
