Based on the results of a test of antivirus products conducted by ComputerBild, a respected German magazine, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 has received one more award as the best solution for the detection and removal of malicious software. The Kaspersky Lab product received the highest overall testing score of 2.29 for the high quality of malicious code detection and removal without damaging infected files, for ease of use and for short new threat response times.

The runners-up were G Data Antivirenkit 2007 and F-Secure Anti-Virus 2007. Since both products are based on the antivirus engine from Kaspersky Lab, it can be said that Kaspersky Anti-Virus has won the entire winners’ podium.
