The sixth generation of Kaspersky® Anti-Virus receives Checkmark certificates from West Coast Labs in multiple categories
Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces the successful completion of Checkmark certification tests by Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0, the latest version of Kaspersky Lab’s antivirus solutions.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 was submitted for testing in several categories. The product was subjected to a two-level test in which it had to detect all viruses from a West Coast Labs list. The testing program also included a test for the detection and removal of Trojans. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 successfully completed all tests and was granted Checkmark certificates in three categories: Antivirus Level 1, Antivirus Level 2 and Trojan.
The Checkmark certificates once again confirm the high quality of the latest generation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
The Checkmark system developed by West Coast Labs (www.check-mark.com), an independent British research center, is a multiple-level system that tests the quality of software and verifies that it meets security standards. Based on testing results, West Coast Labs issues certificates that confirm the high quality and reliability of the software tested.
