Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces that Kaspersky Anti-Spam 3.0 has received Linux New Media Award 2006 in the category “Best Linux-based Anti-spam Solution”. The awards ceremony is an annual event hosted by the German publishing house, Linux New Media AG. This year, it was held at the LinuxWorld Expo 2006, which took place from 14th -16th November in Cologne, Germany.
The awards are regarded as some of the most significant international accolades in the field of Linux and Open Source. An international jury of 100 IT and Linux experts chose the winners in 10 categories. The jury named Kaspersky Anti-Spam 3.0 one of the top three Linux-compatible antispam solutions in the world.
Kaspersky® Anti-Spam protects both users of company mail systems and Internet providers from unsolicited mass mailings. The product provides accurate and reliable filtration of spam using a combination of the latest intelligent technologies and filtering methods.
