German award for Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal 5.0

September 20, 2004

PC Praxis, a German IT publication, designates the solution 'good' and 'very good'

The September edition of PC Praxis, a German IT publication, includes a review of Kaspersky® Anti-Virus Personal 5.0. The product received two nominations: 'good' in the 'quality' class and 'very good' in the 'Price/quality' class. Testers highlighted the excellence of antivirus scanning, the new user-friendly interface, and the frequent release of antivirus database updates. The solution scans rapidly, and processes archives effectively, including files which are password protected. The reviewers also noted that the solution's developers had taken user requirements into account, and considerably simplified the configuration options. Users can now simply choose from one of three pre-configured protection levels - recommended; maximum speed; maximum protection - rather than selecting from a complex range of parameters.
