Kaspersky Lab Announces Appointment of Alexander Moiseev as New Chief Sales Officer

Kaspersky Lab today announced Alexander Moiseev as its new Chief Sales Officer. Effective immediately, the new appointment will cement the company’s position at the forefront of new business development – in areas such as transportation-systems cyber security – whilst sustaining growth and technology leadership in its already established enterprise, SMB and consumer markets.  

In the role of Chief Sales Officer, Moiseev will report directly to Andrey Tikhonov, Chief Operating Officer of Kaspersky Lab since 2011. Garry Kondakov, who greatly contributed to the development of Kaspersky Lab’s business, is no longer with the company and the Chief Business Officer position has been eliminated.

To guarantee business continuity for all European partners and customers during his transition to the new global role, Moiseev remains as Acting Managing Director of Europe until further notice.

Moiseev grew up in Italy, where he joined Kaspersky Lab as business development manager in 2006. In 2008 he was appointed General Manager for Italy and quickly propelled the business from a relatively unknown brand to a household name and, in doing so, delivered impressive growth. In 2013 Moiseev took on the role of Managing Director of Europe, further developing his international management experience and entrepreneurial business approach to grow the business at a regional level.
