Cambridge, UK, July 11, 2000 - Kaspersky Lab Int., an international antivirus software development company, and its regional partner in Ukraine, YUG Associates, are proud to announce that the Kaspersky Lab flagship anti-virus product AntiViral Toolkit Pro (AVP) has been certified according to the international ISO/IEC standard.
The certificate (GA #012252/#12253) has been issued by the State Committee of Ukraine for standardisation, metrology, and certification on July 6, 2000 and is valid until July 2001. The certificate confirms full accordance of AVP Platinum and AVP for Windows NT Server with requirements of functionality, reliability and ease of use by ISO/IEC 12119:1994 standard.
Within the next two months, Kaspersky Lab is planning to extend ISO/IEC certification to other versions of AVP, ante omnia AVP for Novell NetWare and AVP for BSD Unix.
Kaspersky Lab has a complete certification line, which confirms its high level of anti-virus protection and stability of operation. Among them are certificates from the International Computer Security Association (ICSA), the State Committee for Communications, and all three certificates are available from the international research centre West Coast Labs (Checkmark Level 1, Level 2, Trojan).
