Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces two new appointments to the company’s global management team.
Keith Maskell has been appointed to the position of Vice President, Corporate Business, and Roger Wilson has been named as Kaspersky Lab’s new Vice President, Marketing. Both positions are based in the company’s headquarters (Moscow, Russia).
Maskell previously held the position of Managing Director at Canon in Russia. Before coming to Russia, he was General Manager of Canon in Ireland from 2001 to 2003 and Director of the pan-European Corporate and International Channel at Canon’s strategic headquarters in London from 2003 to 2006. Earlier, Keith Maskell worked in senior managerial positions at Xerox and Kvaerner.
Before joining Kaspersky Lab, Wilson worked in senior management positions at Dell (EMEA Corporate Communications Director) and Hewlett-Packard (EMEA Brand and Company Communications Director). Prior to that he worked in marketing management with Xerox and Ford.
The appointment of Keith Maskell as Vice President, Corporate Business completes the upgrade phase of Kaspersky Lab’s global business management structure. The process involved the introduction of three key business divisions covering the company’s corporate business, consumer business and ISV&IHV alliances business.
The Consumer Business Division is headed by Stephane Le Hir, formerly Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab France. It is largely due to his successful work that Kaspersky Lab now enjoys a leading position in the French IT security market.
Kaspersky Lab’s Vice President, ISV&IHV Alliances is Petr Merkulov, a former technology sales manager with five years of experience in the field. The company is currently the world leader in OEM technology licensing for IT security solutions. “A strengthened emphasis on marketing at Kaspersky Lab will add drive and visibility to our business initiatives across the world. Upgrading the corporate management structure has been a priority task for our company and I am glad that the business divisions created within the framework of this modernization are headed by managers with superior qualifications and a wealth of experience, who can give additional impetus to the development of our business in the global market,” said Kaspersky Lab CEO Eugene Kaspersky.
