Antivirus expert David Emm joins Kaspersky Lab UK

Kaspersky Lab has appointed David Emm as Senior Technology Consultant. David will be assisting the UK office in further developing Kaspersky Lab' resource of technical documentation including white papers. He will also participate in technical training and providing comment to the press. David's wide experience in the antivirus industry has given him in-depth knowledge of the business and technical challenges enterprises face, caused by successive generations of viruses, worms and cyber-threats.

Kaspersky is really starting to make inroads into the UK marketplace and I look forward to helping them further strengthen their position,' says David Emm, now Senior Technology Consultant at Kaspersky Lab.
David joined Dr Solomon's Software in 1990, and held various roles in the years that followed, including Technical Support Manager and Senior Technology Consultant. During this time, he was responsible for establishing and running Dr Solomon's Technical Support department, both in the UK and in the United States. He was closely involved with customer seminars and technical training, including the Dr Solomon's Live Virus Workshop.
Following the acquisition of Dr Solomon's by Network Associates, David worked as a Systems Engineer and Product Manager, before joining the McAfee® Product Marketing team in January 2001. Here he was responsible for the strategic marketing direction, product positioning and messaging for McAfee AVERTTM, McAfee scan engine and McAfee Internet gateway appliances.
