Protection that’s compatible with Microsoft’s new user interface
Windows 8 includes a new user interface that helps to ensure users have the same experience whether they’re using a tablet PC or a touch-enabled laptop. While users will welcome this development, it’s important that any security software is compatible with apps that have been developed for Microsoft’s new user interface.
Kaspersky protection – compatible with new apps
Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 have been designed to protect apps that have been developed for Microsoft’s new user interface. Kaspersky technologies scan the apps for viruses and – if the application is infected – the infected files are removed, the infected application is flagged and then the application is replaced with a clean, fresh copy from the Windows Store.
Kaspersky Now makes security even easier
To keep you updated about the security state of your Windows 8 PC, Kaspersky Lab has developed a new application called Kaspersky Now – and it works with both Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013. We’ve designed it specifically for Microsoft’s new user interface – and you can download your FREE copy of Kaspersky Now at Microsoft’s Windows Store.
Kaspersky Now lets you run key features of Kaspersky Lab’s security solutions – including quick scan and database update. Kaspersky Now’s simple-to-use interface also makes it easy for you to view information about your PC’s security status and licence state – and also get the latest security news from Kaspersky Lab.
