Kaspersky Lab's corporate products receive several prestigious logos from Microsoft

Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management systems, announces that its updated products are fully compatible with Microsoft's latest Windows operating systems.

Release 2 versions of Kaspersky Anti-Virus for 6.0 Windows Workstations and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers have received the Compatible with Windows 7 and Works with Windows Server 2008 R2 logos, respectively, after successfully passing all the relevant Microsoft certification tests.

Moreover, the updated versions of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers received Microsoft's prestigious Front Runner logos, which confirm that Kaspersky Lab was among the first companies to ensure compatibility of its products with client and server versions of the new Windows system.

Kaspersky Lab's corporate products are optimized for the architecture of the new Windows versions, ensuring stable and fully-functional operation of the security solutions themselves, as well as operating systems and applications. The products correctly install and operate even in situations that require deep integration with the operating system at kernel level in order to provide maximum protection for users. All of these features, together with a more intuitive user interface, will be appreciated by system administrators.

Users of the new versions of Windows have access to all the features of the updated Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers, including improved object scanning and heuristics. Kaspersky Lab technical support is fully prepared to help customers who use the company's products as they upgrade to Microsoft's latest operating systems.

Kaspersky Lab would also like to emphasize that updating to Release 2 is completely free for current users of the company's corporate products.

"The release of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 will no doubt attract a lot of attention amongst the IT community and we are well prepared for the release," said Alexey Kalgin, director of product marketing for Kaspersky Lab's Corporate Business Division. "As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Kaspersky Lab concentrated on developing a stable and fully functional set of security solutions that provides full integration and reliable protection for the new platform's users. All of this is already available to business users in the Kaspersky Open Space Security Release 2 product line."
