		March 2009 Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 was named 'Best New Product' in the Middle East region after receiving a prestigious Choice of Channel 2008 Award. The winners of the awards were chosen by more than 1000 representatives from leading IT companies, major retail chains and computer stores. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 beat products such as Asus Eee PC, Dell E Series PC, and Linksys LELA to the title.   »»
		March 2009 Kaspersky Lab was named 2009 Software Vendor of the Year by the ЕМЕА Channel Academy. The awards ceremony, held during the DISTREE XXL 2009 conference in Monte Carlo, saw more than 400 regional distributors participate in online voting to choose the best vendors in eight categories.   »»
		February 2009 The Italian edition of the IT magazine ComputerBild ranked Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 in first place in a comparative test, ahead of five other antivirus solutions, including Norton Internet Security, G Data Internet Security and BitDefender Internet Security. The Kaspersky Lab product detected and removed over 379,000 malicious programs used in the test, achieving a threat detection rate of over 99%, and won special praise for its proactive detection technology used to block as yet unknown malware.
		January 2009 Swedish IT publication Datormagazin’s experts gave Kaspersky an award after completing tests of Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. “The new features combined with the high level of protection against malware makes Kaspersky Lab’s comprehensive solution a top choice for consumers,” said the magazine, while also praising Kaspersky’s new antivirus engine. “If you are looking for a user-friendly antivirus solution, Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 really is a great choice,” Datormagazin recommends.   »»
		January 2009 Readers of leading Romanian IT magazine XtremPC voted Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 “Product of the Year”, ahead of competitors such as Norton Internet Security 2009, Panda Global Protection 2009, Avira Antivirus Premium 8 and the solution of well-known Romanian vendor BitDefender. The XtremPC award came shortly after another popular Romanian IT magazine, Chip IT, also voted Kaspersky Internet Security their “Product of the Year”.   »»
		January 2009 Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 won a comparative test conducted by ComputerBild, a major European IT magazine. The test review ranked Kaspersky Internet Security in first place, ahead of nine other antivirus solutions, including Norton Internet Security, G Data Internet Security and BitDefender Internet Security, achieving a threat detection rate of 99.24%.   »»
		December 2008 In a test conducted by Italian PC magazine, Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 scored 95 points out of a maximum of 100 and was given an award from the Italian edition of the respected PC Magazine. The editorial team at PC Magazine concluded that “the new version of Kaspersky Internet Security is reliable and effective; the product guarantees protection from all possible threats.”   »»
		December 2008 Readers of Romanian magazine Chip IT voted Kaspersky Internet Security as “Product of the Year”. The award, in its ninth year, is part of one of the most prestigious IT events in Romania. Kaspersky Internet Security was voted the best solution in the software category, with a higher score than competitors such as McAfee, Norton, Panda, F-Secure and even surpassing BitDefender – a Romanian solution. Unlike numerous other IT competitions, the Chip IT magazine awards are decided by the readers, with journalists having no influence on the final results, and are therefore seen as representing the users’ products of choice.
		December 2008 PCJapan gave Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 the top “Integrated Security Software 2009” ranking in its December 2008 issue. The Kaspersky product was tested against 11 other integrated security software products, and was awarded the highest score, earning the title “PCJapan RECOMMENDED”. 		November 2008 Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 won the comparative test held by the respected German magazine Com!. Kaspersky Lab’s personal product was the top performer in a series of tests in which 10 antivirus solutions from different vendors participated: “Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 provides the best all-round protection. The article noted the solution’s minimal use of system resources and user-friendly interface. “The solution to any potential problem is just a mouse-click away.” Com! reported components of Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 such as the virus scanner, spam filter and firewall performed exceptionally well during the test.
