February 2009The Italian edition of the IT magazine ComputerBild ranked Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 in first place in a comparative test, ahead of five other antivirus solutions, including Norton Internet Security, G Data Internet Security and BitDefender Internet Security. The Kaspersky Lab product detected and removed over 379,000 malicious programs used in the test, achieving a threat detection rate of over 99%, and won special praise for its proactive detection technology used to block as yet unknown malware.
