Kaspersky Labs' products regularly score highly in comparative tests carried out by independent testing centres and IT publications. The awards our products have received are listed below.

		May 2008 Kaspersky Enterprise Space Security was selected as the Readers’ Choice Award winner in the Network Antivirus category on the leading Windows security resource site, WindowSecurity.com. The Readers’ Choice Awards give visitors the opportunity to vote for the products they view as the very best in their respective categories. WindowSecurity.com users are specialists in their field who encounter various network security solutions at the workplace, and the award provides the ultimate recognition from peers within the industry.
		March 2008 Leading Japanese consumer advisory portal Kakaku.com named Kaspersky Internet Security the “Best Internet Security Product 2007” . Kakaku.com evaluates feedback and reviews from common users, choosing the most highly appreciated products that have gained users appreciation. Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0, a predecessor of currently distributed Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0, won the Gold Medal gaining 2414 points in Kakaku.com product rating. Kakaku.com attracts monthly audience of more than 12mln. users, currently accumulating over 7.3 million posts such as feedbacks and reviews. Thus, the Product Award is recognized to be No. 1 in Japan in terms of users’ viewpoint. “It’s a reliable product delivered by a vendor admitting no compromise in quality. That was our primary focus when awarding the Gold Medal, disregard of product price; we are sure that product is worth the award completely”, says Mr. Kamada, head of Media Creative Department of Kakaku.com Inc.
		January 2008 Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 came out on top in a comparative test that saw the four most popular products on the Brazilian market go head-to-head. The results were published in the January edition of the Brazil’s biggest computer magazine InfoExame. Experts at the magazine tested the effectiveness of integrated solutions from Symantec, McAfee, Panda and Kaspersky Lab. As well as checking the quality of malware detection, the specialists at InfoExame tested the spam filtration capabilities of each product, the level of protection their built-in firewalls provide against hacker attacks, and other functions such as parental controls and anti-phishing components. Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 achieved the best results during testing, demonstrating the highest level of malware detection of all the products and scoring most points overall.
		January 2008 Popular French magazine PC Achat has named Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 the “Best Product of 2008” in the category for integrated PC protection software. The authors noted that Kaspersky Internet Security was an extremely reliable defense against viruses, spyware, intrusions, spam, and phishing. Also praised was the product's parental control model, which guards children from accessing questionable sites and can control the amount of time children spend online. In summary, the authors concluded that Kaspersky Internet Security provided "peace of mind and a healthy computer".
		December 2007 German magazine PC Praxis has named Kaspersky Internet Security “The Product of the Year” under the category of “IT security” More than 35 thousand PC Praxis readers participated in the open voting. Andreas Lamm, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab in Germany, notes that “votes from readers are how we truly learn that the users are really satisfied with our products. We are striving for leadership on the consumer market and it is only possible if the clients highly appreciate Kaspersky Lab products”
		December 2007 Kaspersky Internet Security has won a five star recommendation for Kasperskyâ Internet Security 7.0. Throughout the rigorous testing process Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 scored the highest results for malware detection, website-exploits and firewall tests scoring 98% for detection. It also outperformed the competition on system start-up time and system RAM footprint. Kaspersky® Internet Security benefits from a comprehensive triple threat barrier that incorporates automated hourly anti-malware updates, heuristic analysis and real-time behaviour blocking. As proven in the PC Pro test it delivers the highest detection rates, fastest response to new threats and proactive protection against known and unknown threats. 		November 2007 Kaspersky Internet Security this week scored an impressive 9 out of 10 points in a security review carried out by Micro Mart. The score was based on performance, features, ease of use and price. “Kaspersky Internet Security is excellent value for money considering how much software you get and if you bought individual products they could cost double the price for this kit. Parental controls enable you to prevent children from accessing unsuitable web content and you can also define the times that they’re allowed Internet access. The software can block irritating advertising banners on web pages. Other security suites do some or maybe all of this, but they don’t give that fine degree of control that Kaspersky provides. It’s easy to enable and disable individual features and many functions can be customised. It’s strongly recommended.”
		September 2007 Kaspersky Anti-Virus wins the prestigious CNET Editors’ Choice Award for the second year in a row. According to CNET, “Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 continues to outshine its competition with its ease of use combined with thorough antivirus protection. Kaspersky has consistently demonstrated the shortest response time to breaking new malware threats. If you’re looking for an antivirus application that’s good, fast, and light on system resources, Kaspersky is the one. We found this application easy enough for beginners with customization features that will please more-advanced users, as well.” CNET Editors’ Choice winners are recognized as top products in their respective technology categories, and contribute to the standard by which all future products are judged. A key selection requirement is that it must also change the competitive landscape of its market, whether through innovative features, exceptional value for the price, remarkable ease of use, or a demonstrable boost to the lives of its users.
		August 2007 Kaspersky® Enterprise Space Security, a product of the Kaspersky® Open Space Security suite, has won a five star recommendation in a review by UK technology publication, PC Pro. Kaspersky® Enterprise Security, which provides protection for workstations, file servers and mail servers, was awarded five stars for each of the PC Pro review categories that included ease of use, features and value for money. The review recognises the development in the software’s added protection functions and also highlights the capabilities of the suite’s management console, Kaspersky® Administration Kit. In addition the review acknowledges Kaspersky’s Anti-Spam system as the PC Pro author Ian Parsons explains, “We were impressed by the antispam system which not only detects text-based spam using a self-training algorithm, but can also detect spam in images and from the contents of the mail header.” Parson concludes that “The extra features in the client software avoid the need for separate protection programs, providing savings in processing power, administration and costs, making the whole package even more attractive.”
		July 2007 Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 received two top awards – “Labs Winner” and “A List” from PC Pro, one of the oldest and most influential British IT magazines, with a six-star rating for all three criteria: performance; ease of use; and value for money. According to PC Pro, Kaspersky Anti-Virus demonstrated unrivaled effectiveness of antivirus protection: it “managed to find and remove an incredible 98% of the malware.” “While many packages check for new virus signatures on a daily basis, Kaspersky runs to an hourly schedule, improving a PC’s chances of being immunized before an infection reaches it,” states the article. The review also notes that the software is efficient, being one of the lowest users of total system RAM of all the products tested: “It’s refreshing to find an antivirus package that’s so respectful of resources… the impact upon system resources is negligible.”It cites the product’s breadth of features as a major benefit of the software: “No other package combines such a range of useful functions.” Importantly, even an inexperienced user will be able to control all these features. “With peerless detection capabilities, this well-conceived package is a joy to use,” say the reviewers.
