Whether you’re currently running a trial version, an older version previously purchased that you'd like to renew , or this is a first time installation, it is important that you have the most recent version of the software running on your machine and a valid activation code purchased in our online estore. Trials do not need to be activated during the first 30 days, but if you'd like to continue using the software after the trial period is over, you must purchase an activation code and complete our simple activation process shown below.

Making Your Product a Fully-Licensed Version

If you're running a trial version that's nearing the end of the trial period and you'd like to continue using the product, just follow the steps below:

1. Make sure that you're running the most recent version of the product (open it and click the "Support" tab to see your current version number).
   If you're not currently running the latest version, you can download it for free and use it for the remaining period left on your trial. Or you can purchase the latest version in our estore.
2. Purchase the product in our estore . We'll always send you the latest version of our products.
3. Uninstall any previous versions of antivirus software on your machine.
4. Install your new Kaspersky Product. If your trial version is the latest version of the software, there is no need to re-install.
5. Add the activation code that we send you to the product that's now on your machine.
