Eugene Kaspersky, CEO and co-founder of Kaspersky Lab, is urging greater collaboration between the UK government and the private sector to address the very real and potentially devastating threat of cyberwarfare and the consequent risks posed to critical infrastructure.

Integration with new features in VMware’s vCloud Networking and Security means the new solution now offers additional functionality to detect and protect against network intrusions.
Kaspersky Lab is proud to announce that its protection solution, Kaspersky Internet Security 2013, successfully blocked 100% of malicious attacks in the Real-World Protection Test conducted by respected Austrian research laboratory AV-Comparatives in March 2013.

Kaspersky Lab advises users of other vendors’ solutions to run an extra scan on their computers
Although there are dedicated technologies which can automatically download and install updates, these are rarely used – even by companies that have implemented client system management tools. Only 35% of all companies automatically install updates, according to a November 2012 study by market research specialists B2B International. Meanwhile, cybercriminals often use unpatched vulnerabilities in outdated software to penetrate a company’s IT infrastructure.
