Kaspersky Mobile Security gets perfect score in independent test
Kaspersky Lab is pleased to report that its mobile security product for Android devices, Kaspersky Mobile Security, scored the highest possible number of points for security, user-friendliness, and its array of essential security features in an independent test conducted by AV-Test in July 2013.

During the test, Kaspersky Lab’s product successfully detected and blocked 100% of all malicious attacks and did not produce a single false positive. Kaspersky Mobile Security also earned additional points for featuring functions that are critical for mobile solutions, such as an anti-theft module, call-blocking, message filtering, and secure web browsing.
Throughout the course of the test, AV-Test experts also determined that Kaspersky Mobile Security has no impact on a device’s battery, nor does it affect device performance or require a lot of traffic. As a result, the Kaspersky Lab product received a perfect 13 points out of 13.
Only three of the other 29 security solutions participating in the test managed to achieve a similar overall result.
Nikolai Grebennikov, Technical Director at Kaspersky Lab, commented on the product’s success: “When developing our products we strive to match the needs and expectations of our users. What do they expect from a mobile security product? Robust protection, naturally, plus a variety of features, a user-friendly interface, and something that won’t drain their device’s battery. Kaspersky Mobile Security met all of those parameters and earned maximum points in the test, finishing first as a result. That says it all.”
Independent experts regularly confirm the high level of security and user-friendliness of Kaspersky Mobile Security. For example, Kaspersky Lab’s solution has proven its strong performance based on the results of tests similar to the one conducted by AV-Test in July. Last September, two independent testing organizations – AV-Comparatives and PC Security Labs – both showered their acclaim on Kaspersky Mobile Security, giving it top awards in their antivirus tests.
