This is actually normal for any antivirus product, as they perform many background checks to ensure your safety. However, you can configure Kaspersky PURE to increase your computer\u2019s performance. We recommend running a full scan once a week.<\/p>\n<p>To enable an automatic scan process start when your computer is idle, check the <b>Run scheduled scan when screensaver is active or computer is locked<\/b> box.<\/p>\n<p><b>2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b><b>Set an update schedule<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Path:<b> Settings<\/b> \u2013 <b>Update<\/b> \u2013 <b>Update settings<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 <b>Run mode<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>By default, the <b>Automatically<\/b> update mode is selected. In this case, the application automatically checks for available updates. The update frequency can be increased during virus outbreaks. If you wish to control the database\u2019s update, you can configure an update schedule. To do this, in the <b>Update<\/b> window on the <b>Run mode<\/b> tab select the <b>By schedule<\/b> option. Be aware, your computer\u2019s level of security may be reduced.<\/li>\n<li><b>Concede resources to other applications<\/b>.
