Because we are social beings we communicate with other people and often exchange information transferred via removable drives, which are also infection-prone. And an infected removable drive is as efficient at ruining your computer and data as any virus. To protect your computer from these dangers, you should enable the option to scan removable devices upon their connection to your device.<\/p>\n<p>To configure the automatic scan of removable devices upon their connection in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kaspersky.com\/pure\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Kaspersky PURE<\/a>, click <b>Settings<\/b> at the right top corner, and in the <b>Scan<\/b> section select <b>General Settings<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.kasperskydaily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2013\/07\/06050319\/tip_10July_en_1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2256\" alt=\"tip_10July_en_1\" src=\"https:\/\/media.kasperskydaily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2013\/07\/06050319\/tip_10July_en_1.png\" width=\"597\" height=\"480\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the <b>Scan removable drives on connection<\/b> section, select the required action:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Do not scan<\/b>. In this case, the application will not scan removable drives on their connection.<\/li>\n<li><b>Prompt for action<\/b>. The window asking to select an action will appear on a removable device connection. You can select one of the following: <b>Quick Scan<\/b>,\u00a0<b>Full Scan<\/b> or <b>Do not scan<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/media.kasperskydaily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2013\/07\/06050316\/tip_10July_en_2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2257\" alt=\"tip_10July_en_2\" src=\"https:\/\/media.kasperskydaily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2013\/07\/06050316\/tip_10July_en_2.png\" width=\"352\" height=\"390\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Full Scan<\/b>.
