Released: Critical Fix 7 for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Server Enterprise Edition (versions 6.0.2.551 and 6.0.2.555)

FIXED ISSUES

  • The option of detecting and deleting new types of threats, which use the technologies of masking and protecting infected files without rebooting the server, has been added. The product will be guaranteed access to the files being masked even if the threat has maximum privileges within the system.
  • The update subsystem error, which could freeze the update task, has been fixed.
  • The error in report subsystem operation has been fixed. Product startup returns an error if a multibyte-code language is selected as language for programs, which do not support Unicode.
  • The script scan error which resulted in incorrect execution of some Java scenarios has been fixed.
  • The error in encrypted script processing which led to the failure of script execution has been fixed.
  • The error in the processing of scripts executed by Microsoft Internet Explorer has been fixed. This resulted in a notification about a DCOM error and EventID 10016 appeared in Windows system event log when scanning the scripts. This issue is only encountered when using the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating system and if the protected mode is enabled in Microsoft Internet Explorer settings.
  • The script scan process has been optimized; as a result, the possible delay when displaying web pages with scripts has been significantly decreased.
  • The problem of synchronizing roaming profiles has been solved.
  • A compatibility error with NETIQ APP Manager that could lead to NETIQ APP Manager failure has been fixed.
  • The error in determining paths to files located on network disks connected during a session has been fixed. The error showed up in incorrect displays of paths in task reports and failures in the application of exclusion rules.
