Kaspersky Anti-Virus® 5.7 for Novell Maintenance Pack 1 (version 5.7.3)

What's new:

• An option to exclude files from being scanned based on their size has been added in the application.
• The anti-virus database updater module now supports the creation of a file containing debug information.
• The error causing a server crash in the case of incorrect application settings has been fixed.
• The Network Agent error occurring during updates via an Administration Server group task of Kaspersky Administration Kit has been fixed.
• Insufficient memory error (java.lang.OutOfMemoryError) in the operation of anti-virus database updater while using older JVM versions has been fixed.
• Fixed minor application runtime errors.
• Fixed minor errors in the anti-virus database updater module.

Known issues and appropriate solutions:

• Kaspersky Network Agent (referred to as klnagent.nlm) is recommended when working in a protected address space of Novell NetWare Server.
• klnagent.nlm can be started by command:
  load address space = klnagent klnagent.nlm
  or by running nagent-5.ncf executable
• In case of failure klnagent.nlm can be shut down using:
  unload kill address space = klnagent
• Managing the application through Kaspersky Administration Kit is limited to the following functions:
  • Of all the Network Agent management functions, only the agent port management function is available
  • Running tasks from a specified account is not supported.
  • Policies for mobile users are not supported.
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus install/uninstall via Kaspersky Administration Kit is not supported.
  • Versioning of files in Quarantine/Backup is not supported
