Differences of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.5 for Lotus Notes/Domino Maintenance Pack 1, build 5.5.1382 compared with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.5 for Lotus Notes/Domino Critical Fix 2, build 5.5.997

1. Domino 5.x versions are no longer supported.
2. The updater component has been improved; the option to initiate updating of the anti-virus databases upon request from the interface has been added.
3. The algorithm for scanning replication traffic has been enhanced. By default, incoming replication only are scanned.
4. Support for UNICODE encoding has been improved.
5. Filtration of attachments by extension has been replaced with filtration by actual type.
6. The option to restore objects from database Quarantine has been added.
7. Support for a reserve license key has been implemented.
8. The option to initiate database scanning upon request from the interface has been added.
9. Removal of configuration documents is blocked now.
10. Redundant messages upon key expiry and during replication scanning have been removed.

Fixed problems

• The error which occurs when nKavDbScanner task is started again has been fixed.
• The error in operation of the anti-virus kernel which occurs with some password-protected archives has been fixed.
• The error in server operation caused by invalid settings for notification of virus outbreaks has been fixed.
• The error in server operation which occurs when a non-existent key is removed during the installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been fixed.
• The error which causes duplication of objects during e-mail transfer from Quarantine has been fixed.
• The error which occurs when adding a report to the message body (if an infected message is of MIME type) has been fixed.
• The error which occurs in scanning outgoing replication has been fixed.
