  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0 MP4 has a function which allows automatically sending application crash dumps to Kaspersky Lab developers for detailed analysis of the crash. If an application crash has occurred on your computer, an application crash dump file will be created automatically. You can send this dump file to Kaspersky Lab for detailed analysis. 

    Yet automatic uploading of a crash dump file to Kaspersky Lab servers does not create a Technical support request automatically. Which means your crash dump will be analyzed by the developers but you will not get any feedback.
    If you want to receive a detailed description of a reason which lead to the application crash with recommendations on how to eliminate it, you should submit a Request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support service. Please complete your request with the following data:
    an application crash dump. Application crash dumps are automatically saved in:

    Windows Vista: Disk:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\
    Windows XP/Windows Server 2003: Disk:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\
    Windows 2000: Disk:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINNT\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\
    Windows Server 2008: Disk:\Users\All Users\Kaspersky Lab
    a report of the GetSystemInfo utility;
    detailed description of the situation which happened on your computer.
