Activation code is a unique set of characters that comes in 4 blocks of 5, separated by a hyphen(-). Each block comprises of 5 characters which can be a combination of letters and numbers, which comes to a total of 20 characters. An activation code is required to activate a Kaspersky Lab product, which you have purchased on the Online-Store.
The activation code for all box version or purchased product from retail stores, can be found printed right around the inner hole of the disc.

If you have purchased Kaspersky Anti-Virus Software or Kaspersky Internet Security Software on the Online-Store, the activation code will be sent to the email address you gave when making the order.

The activation code which has never been activated does not have an expiry date. This is also true for box version purchases.The licence validity period starts on the day of initial activation.
This information does not refer to trial activation codes which go on CD-disks in magazines. Validity period of trial activation codes is restricted.
