When I try to activate application via an activation code, an error is displayed – Request contains incorrect license key data. What should I do?

  • If when activating Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0 via an activation code, the following error is displayed on the screen:

    The probable reason of the error is exceeding of the license numbers for the activation code you are entering.

    To resolve the problem, you should get a new activation code by sending a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the web-form HelpDesk. When submitting a request as a request category select Key problem and enter the following information: 

    • place and date of the product purchase 
    • activation code/registration number of the product 
    • license owner info

    If not licesensed copy of Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0 is installed on your PC, then it is recommended to purchase the product via E-Store or by the Kaspersky Lab Partners.
