Concerning to:
Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0/7.02009 (all builds)
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations (all builds)
Initially Anti-Spam (component of Kaspersky internet Security 6.0/7.0/2009 and Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 for Windows Workstations) is tested on spam-messages in Kaspersky Lab. To activate the working mode to detect spam it is recommended that you teach your Anti-Spam on 50 messages. You can train your Anti-Spam by either using the Training Wizard or:
- by using the 'Junk' and 'Not Junk' buttons in the tool bar in MS OUTLOOK and MS OUTLOOK Express
The buttons Spam/ Non-spam in the mail client Mozilla Thunderbird are available for users of Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 only.
- by using the Specials->Mark as Junk/Mark as NOT Junk menu in TheBat! application.
- with the "Train using outgoing mail" setting enabled , Anti-Spam is automatically trained on all outgoing messages, regardless of the mail client.
- in the statistics window of the Anti-Spam component
