Riskware also refers to trusted riskware. Riskware is potentially dangerous software that does not have a malicious function but, since it contains holes and errors, can be used by hackers as an auxiliary component for a malicious program. Under certain conditions, having such programs on your computer can put your data at risk. By default these programs are not detected. To enable the function, do the following:
- open the main application window
- click the Settings menu and go to Protection
- in the Malware Categories check the Potentially dangerous software (riskware) box
- click the Apply and OK buttons
Note: the dialog windows for Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 MP1/MP2, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 MP1/MP2, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 SOS
