When installing the Anti-Virus application locally (by Custom installation type) in the Custom Setup window the user is suggested to install Kaspersky Administration Kit Connector.
Connector provides interaction of the Anti-Virus application with the Network Agent installed on the same computer. It does not matter which application was installed first (Network Agent of Kaspersky Anti-Virus).
 It is obligatory to install the Connector if the application is going to be managed via Kaspersky Administration Kit (either remotely or via the locally installed Console).
If the Connector is installed the AVPCon.dll file appears in the Anti-Virus setup folder.
By remote Anti-Virus installation the Connector installs automatically though it is not listed among installation components in the installation package.
