If you are using Kaspersky Anti-Hacker Personal Firewall and\or Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal 5.0 \ Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal PRO 5.0\ Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations and would like to install new Kaspersky Lab products – Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 or Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0, first uninstall previous versions of Kaspersky Lab products (as anti-virus products of version 6.0 are not compatible with previous versions).

When installing new versions on the computer on which Kaspersky Anti-Hacker Personal Firewall and\or Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal 5.0 \ Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal PRO 5.0\ Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations are already installed you will be suggested to uninstall these programs automatically (Setup wizard of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 or Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 uninstalls these programs and then continues the uninstallation process)

if you select the Delete option manually, the Next button is inactive until you uninstall the application.

Click Next to continue.

Having uninstalled the applications incompatible with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0/ Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 the Setup Wizard suggests you to restart the computer. It is recommended to close all programs before you click the OK button.

The dialog windows of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0, Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 MP1, Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 MP1, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers are the same but with corresponding dialog windows.
