After I have installed Kaspersky Lab product version 6.0, Internet pages are imaged incorrectly or do not download at all. Why?

  • WarningThis article concerns latest versions of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 version MP1. Before you perform the recommendations given below check the version of your Anti-Virus installed with the version laid out on the Kaspersky Lab site.

    After installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0 some Internet pages can be imaged not correctly. If you have the same problem, do the following to rectify it:

    • Disable program self-defense (the Settings tab > Service > uncheck Enable Self-Defense

     

    • Enable tracing Notify (500) using the KAVLOG utility. 
    • In the C:\ root directory create the folder http 
    • Run the file Trace_httpanzl_ON.reg from the HTTP panzl6.zip 
    • Save the product’s settings to a file (the Settings tab > Protection > the Save button) 

     

    • Reproduce the problem: launch the Internet browser and try to open the “problem” site. 
    • Make a screenshot of the problem site. 
    • Close the browser. 
    • Pack all files in the folder C:\http to an archive and give the archive a unique name. Delete all files from the folder. 
    • Exit your Anti-Virus application: right-click the Kaspersky icon and in the context menu select Exit
    • Reproduce the problem: launch the Internet browser and try to open the “problem” site.
    • Make a screenshot of the problem site.
    • Close the browser.
    • Pack all files in the folder C:\http to an archive and give the archive a unique name. Delete all files from the folder. 
    • Run the file Trace_httpanzl_OFF.reg from the HTTP panzl6.zip.
    • Create the report using the GetSystemInfo utility.

     

    Send the received information with the description of the problem to Kaspersky Lab Tech Support via the HelpDesk Form.

    Information The dialog windows for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0/ MP1/MP2, Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0/ MP1/MP2 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations MP2 are the same but with the corresponding product names and the number of Protection components
