Concerning to:
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 (all builds)
Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 (all builds)
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations (all versions)
When Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0\ Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 co-works with Agnitum Outpost Firewall the following problems may arise:
- Internet pages will not download or download partially
- E-mail cannot be sent/received
- Internet speed decreases noticeably
To rectify such problems, do the following:
- Open the main application window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0
- Go to the Settings menu
- In the right part of the window click the Trusted zone button
- In the open window go to the Exclusion Masks tab
- On the tab click the Add button
- Make sure the Object option is checked (if it is not, check it)
- In the same window in the Rule description section click the Specify link
- In the open window click Browse
- In the dialog window find the folder into which Agnitum Outpost Firewall was installed. By default the product is installed in the directory C:\Program Files\Agnitum\Outpost Firewall
- Click the OK button in the Browse for Exclusion Mask window
- In the Exclusion Object Edit window check Include subfolders and click OK
- In the Exclusion Mask window click the Selected link until its value changes to Any
- Click OK in each window
- Minimize the main application window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0

To avoid Internet being blocked by co-use of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 and Agnitum Outpost Firewall, do the following:
- Open the main application window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0
- Go to the Settings menu
- Click the Service link in the left part of the window
- Uncheck Enable Self-Defense in the right part of the tab
- Click the Apply and OK buttons
- Minimize the main application window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0

- Download the
Outpost_Patch utillity
- Run the file Outpost_Patch.exe
- In the dialog window click the Install button
- Close the dialog window of KAV 6.0\KIS 6.0 & Outpost 3.0
- Open the main application window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0
- Go to the Settings tab
- Click the Service link in the left part of the window
- Check Enable Self-Defense in the right part of the tab
- Click the Apply and OK buttons
- Minimize the main application window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0

The above given recommendations allow switching the driver of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 into an alternative working mode. This procedure does not influence protection of your PC. Returning the driver into initial working mode does not influence your PC protection either.
To restore the driver of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0\Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 into an initial working mode, perform the above described recommendations once again. Once the utility Outpost_Patch is launched, click the Remove button

Note: the dialog windows for Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0, Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 MP1, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 MP1 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations are the same but with corresponding product names and number of the Protection components.
