Concerning to:
Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 (all builds)
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations (all builds)
If your computer connects to Internet via local network and the connection disappears after you install Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0, do the following to rectify the problem:
1. make sure another Firewall is not installed in the system. Make sure the embedded Windows Firewall is disabled:
- go to Start > Control Panel > Security Center

- in the open window go to Windows Firewall

- make sure Windows Firewall is disabled
2. Disable the Anti-Hacker component
- open Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0 main application window
- select the Anti-Hacker component
- click the Anti-Hacker link in the panel
- choose Stop in the context menu

3. If efficiency of the Intranet has restored enable Anti-Hacker and check the component settings:
- right-click the Kaspersky Anti-Virus icon
- in the context menu select Settings

- choose the Anti-Hacker component

- in the Enable Firewall section click the Settings button
- go to the Zones tab

4. Make sure the Anti-Hacker settings correspond to the Intranet settings. For it:

- enter CMD in the Open field and click OK

- in the open window enter the command IPCONFIG and press Enter
- make sure the first two figures in the IP Address line are the same as the first two figures in the Network IP Address setting of the Anti-Hacker component.
- make sure the subnet mask is the same as the subnet mask in the Anti-Hacker component

The dialog windows of Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations are the same but with the corresponding product names.
