How to integrate the Anti-Banner component with the Opera browser

  • Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0/7.0/2009 (all builds)
  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations (all builds)
  • To integrate the Anti-banner component of Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0/7.0/2009and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Wokrstations with the Opera browser, do the following: 

    • find the standart_menu.ini file in the folder, in which the browser is installed 
    • open the file by Notepad 
    • in the section [Image Link Popup Menu] write the line
      • for Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0- Item, "New banner" = Copy image address & Execute program, "C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0\opera_banner_deny.vbs", "//nologo %C"

     

      • for Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 /MP1/MP2 - Item, "New banner" = Copy image address & Execute program, "C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0\opera_banner_deny.vbs", "//nologo %C"

     

      • for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations - Item, "New banner" = Copy image address & Execute program, "C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations\opera_banner_deny.vbs", "//nologo %C"
    • save the changes

    Information If the path to the program files has been changed during the installation of Kaspersky Lab’s product version 6.0/7.0/2009 in this case the path to the folder into which the program files were copied on your computer should be specified in the strip.

    This module integrates in the browser context menu which makes the banner easy to add to the Anti-banner list.
