Why do version 6.0 products delete infected files slower than Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 5.0?

    • In Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 5.0 products an infected file was simply deleted. In Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0 not only the file is deleted, all links to the file are taken away from the registry and other locations. The first deletion during the session may take 5-10 sec (the system registry is viewed and the keys are cached), the following deleting operations will take less time.
