How can I switch off pop-up messages in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations?

Concerning to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations 5.0.527 - 5.0.712

If you haven't performed full computer scan for a while or if you use customized settings, as soon as you start Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations you will be getting pop-up messages saying it is recommended to perform full computer scan, update anti-virus databases and restore the Anti-Virus settings to those recommended by the Kaspersky Lab's experts.

If you do not want to see those messages pop up every time you run Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations you can turn those pop-up messages off (recommended for advanced users) the following way:

  • Go to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations > Settings > Additional settings 
  • On the General tab in the Interface section uncheck Display information messages 
  • Close the window by pressing OK 
  • Minimize the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations main window

After it Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations will not pop-up the warning messages.
