Programs that are not malicious and do not contain a malicious code, but are potentially dangerous are detected by Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations when using additional antivirus database (detailed about antivirus database updates) installed additionally to the main set.

To install an extended set of antivirus databases, do the following: 

  • go to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations > Settings > Threats and Exclusions 
  • in the open window in the Detectable threats section check Adware, riskware, automatic dialers
  • close the window by clicking OK 
  • minimize the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations main window
