Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations MP5 (builds 5.0.676 - 5.0.712)

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations has a set of exclusions that is applied by default to on-demand scan, real-time files protection and mail scan (detailed information about working with general exclusions in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations). Exclusions can also be configured for on-demand scan only. To change exclusions settings for on-demand scan please do the following: 

• go to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations > Settings > On-Demand Scan tasks 
• in the On-Demand scan tasks window select the on-demand scan task you would like to configure exclusions click Properties 
• in the open window switch to the Settings tab 
• on the Settings tab in the Scan level settings section in the next to the Exclusions line click Specified/ Not specified

Note: in the same window you can also allow using general exclusions for on-demand scan, that have been specified earlier, including the option Exclude allowed riskware (Working with exclusions for the On-demand scan tasks in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations)

• click the Add button in the next window 
• in the Adding an exclusion window select the disc/folder/file you want to exclude from scan when the selected on-demand scan task is being performed 
• close each window by clicking the OK button 
• minimize the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations main window
