Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations contains a component that scans scripts executed when viewing pages in the Internet and is known as Kaspersky Script Checker. When detecting a dangerous script Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations can either prompt user for action, block script execution or allow script execution–depending on the real-time script protection settings you configured (Kaspersky Script Checker). To change the Real-Time script protection settings, do the following:
Go to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations > Settings > Configure Real-Time Protection
In the Real-time protection settings window switch to the Scripts tab
In the drop-down Action to be performed with dangerous script list select a necessary action
Close each window by pressing OK
Minimize the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations main window
The list of available actions upon a dangerous script includes the following:
Prompt user for action: (default option) when a potentially dangerous script is detected you will be suggested either allow its execution or block it
Block script execution: when a potentially dangerous script is detected it will be blocked
Allow script execution: when a potentially dangerous script is detected it will be executed
