High speed level scans: 

• Hard drives 
• Removable drives 
• Files by extension 
• Packed files 
• Boot sectors 
• Stop if scan takes longer than: 60 sec:, if the object scan is not completed during this period, then Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations starts scanning the next object

To change real-time files protection level, do the following: 

• Go to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations > Settings > Configure Real-Time Protection > Files 
• In the drop down Protection level settings menu select the necessary level 
• Close the window by pressing OK 
• Minimize the main window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations

After it Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows Workstations will work according to the level configured
